Encouraged in Christ

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“It’s the work that Christ finished at Calvary when He made that all sufficient Word saying, “It is finished.” The whole plan of salvation, all that could be done for mankind by the heart of God was finished when Christ said those words. God’s plan was completed. We just have to have faith to receive what He has finished for us.” WMB

But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5

“I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.”
John 17:9-11

Alzaré mis ojos a los montes; ¿de dónde vendrá mi socorro?Mi socorro viene de Jehová, que hizo los cielos y la tierra. No dará tu pie al resbaladero, ni se dormirá el que te guarda.Salmos 121:1-3

”If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; Even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; But the night shineth as the day: The darkness and the light are both alike to thee.“
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭11‬-‭12‬

“And we’re taught that the footsteps of the—of the righteous is ordered of the Lord. And everything works together for good to them that love God. God just brings things around to happen that way. It’s His great love to His people. Sometimes He has to take you through some dark places, but only to show you light. And our Father works those things.” WMB

”The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, They stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.“
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭27‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭

“For they are worthy.” Do you realize Who is saying this? It is Jesus, the Worthy One, Himself. This is the only One Who is accounted worthy to take the book out of the hand of Him Who sits upon the throne. And now this Worthy One is saying to His saints, “You are worthy.” Here is this One, the only One qualified to judge, (and indeed all judgment is committed unto Him,) and He says, “You are worthy.” WMB
