Encouraged in Christ
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus.
Life’s trails seem so small, when we see Christ.
One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrow will erase.
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.
“And I got a ticket to show that I’ve redeemed my watch from the pawn shop, let somebody try to take it back in the pawn shop once, when I’ve got a ticket. I have redeemed it. And if the devil would try to put punishment on me, I’ve got a ticket that shows I been redeemed. Yes, sir. No more judgment! “He that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Eternal Life, and shall never come to the judgment, but has passed from death unto Life.” That’s my ticket. He gave the promise.” WMB
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:1-2
To think, that perfect love casts out all fear. You’re not scared about nothing; you’re just resting. You’re not, “Oh, I may backslide tomorrow. I may backslide next week.” I won’t worry about that. I’m not trying to hold on. I—I…He held on for me. And He put a love in my heart that holds there. It’s Him holding me, not me holding Him. If it was me holding Him, I’d probably turn loose. But as long as He’s holding me, He will never turn loose. He promised He wouldn’t.
“I’ll never leave thee nor forsake thee.” Amen. Oh. “He that heareth My words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation, but’s passed from death unto Life.”
I will rest my solemn soul upon that Word of God and stand and say, “As long as I know there’s something in me, making me love the Lord Jesus so well I don’t want to do wrong.” I’m anchored. Amen.

The blood was a token, or an identification, identifying this person has been redeemed. Now, well, notice, they had, they were redeemed before there was anything had ever happened. By faith they applied the blood. See, before it actually happened, the blood was applied by faith, believing that it was going to happen. See? Before that the wrath of God passed through the land, the blood had to be applied, first. It was too late after the wrath had done fallen.

Now, we got that this morning, how that we are perfected. Perfected, absolutely spotless and blameless, not one sin on us. Are you above temptation? Never. Do you sin every day? Yes, sir. But, yet, we are perfected because we are in Him. And God could no more judge us than nothing (couldn’t be righteous), He’s already judged us in Him. When He judged Christ, He judged me, He judged you. And He can’t judge me again, because He took my judgment if I’ve been redeemed.
Ahora, cubrimos eso esta mañana, cómo somos perfeccionados. Perfeccionados, absolutamente sin mancha y sin culpa, sin tener nosotros un solo pecado. ¿Están Uds. por encima de la tentación? Nunca. ¿Pecan Uds. a diario?
