Encouraged in Christ

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

So I’ll cherish the old rugged crossUntil my trophies at last I lay downI will cling to the old rugged crossAnd exchange it some day for a crown

Then when we pray, we must have the Token to present with our prayers, as I said, and now believe for ourself and apply the Token to the whole family, like in Egypt, Jericho, or either in Acts 16:31. We find out that Paul told the Roman centurion, say, “Believe thou, and all thy house shall be saved.” Apply It to your family. If you got an unsaved child, lay the Token right on top of him, say, “Lord God, I claim him.” WMB

WMB

“And sometimes we have more troubles when we become a Christian than we did when we were sinners. Course, It is written, “Many is the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivereth him from them all.” God promised many afflictions, strange feelings, and strange things that would be beyond our understanding, but it’s always done for our good. We just can’t understand it, because, if we did, then it would not be a faith to us; we would go with an understanding. But we do it, and we have it, and we believe by faith, His Word, that it’s going to work some good thing for us.” WMB

When the valley is deepWhen the mountain is steepWhen the body is wearyWhen we stumble and fallWhen the choices are hardWhen we’re battered and scarredWhen we’ve spent our resourcesWhen we’ve given our allIn Jesus’ name, we press on

“Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Delight thyself also in the LORD;
Commit thy way unto the LORD;
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him:
Psalm 37

~

“Confía en el SEÑOR, y haz el bien;
Deléitate también en el SEÑOR;
Encomienda a Jehová tu camino;
Descansa en el SEÑOR, y espera pacientemente en Él:
Salmon 37

Though I struggle, I’ll not stagger;
by His grace I’ll make it through.
For His grace is all sufficient
and I know that God is true!

Though God slay me, yet I’ll trust Him.
I will then come forth as gold.
And I know that He still liveth,
for I feel Him in my soul!

“From start to finish it is all GOD.Let His life be in me.Let it be His blood that cleanses me. Let it be His Spirit that fills me.Let it be His Word in my heart and mouth.Let it be His stripes that heal me.Let it be Jesus, and Jesus Alone.Not by works of righteousness which I have done.No sir. Christ is my life. Amen.” -WMB

“Oh, what treasures are laid for those who are willing to enter into His Kingdom through much tribulation.” WMB

“God don’t want you to be frowning. God wants you to be happy. The human heart was made to be happy. Worry will cause cancer. Temper will cause cancer. Don’t never be upset. Just walk in His love. Amen. Knowing that you’re walking in Him, and nothing can harm you. There’s nothing can harm you. There’s neither powers, things present, things future, nothing can separate us from Him. We’re in Him. And we never come in by our own will. He, by choice, elected us and brought us in to Him. Amen.” WMB

“Dios no quiere que frunzas el ceño. Dios quiere que seas feliz. El corazón humano fue hecho para ser feliz. La preocupación causará cáncer. El temperamento causará cáncer. No te enojes nunca. Solo camina en Su amor. Amén. Saber que estás caminando en Él, y nada puede dañarte. No hay nada que pueda dañarte. No hay ni poderes, ni cosas presentes, cosas futuras, nada puede separarnos de Él. Estamos en Él. Y nunca entramos por nuestra propia voluntad. Él, por elección, nos eligió y nos trajo a Él. Amén”. WMB
