Encouraged in Christ

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“And the believer in Christ is safely secured. Amen. Not upon the merits of himself, but on his obedience, obedience to walk into the ark. The only thing Noah had to do was get in the ark. He didn’t even have to shut the door; God did that Himself. Walk in; that’s all the believer does is walk by faith in Christ. God takes care of the rest of it. “He that heareth My words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into the judgment, passed from death unto life, in the ark, safe forevermore.” WMB

WMB

“For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary;
From heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
To hear the groaning of the prisoner;
To loose those that are appointed to death;”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭102‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭

~

“Porque miró desde lo alto de su santuario;
Jehová miró desde los cielos a la tierra,
Para oír el gemido de los presos,
Para soltar a los sentenciados a muerte”
Salmos 102:19-20

Song of Encouragement Sung by the missionary team and Saints from Peace Tabernacle in Zambia at the Lake in Malawi (Nkhatabay District)

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
From whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD,
Which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
He that keepeth thee will not slumber.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭

~

“Alzaré mis ojos a los montes;
¿De dónde vendrá mi socorro?
Mi socorro viene de Jehová,
Que hizo los cielos y la tierra.
No dará tu pie al resbaladero,
Ni se dormirá el que te guarda.”
Salmos 121:1-3

“The whole world becomes of love. All creation worships Him. The trees clap their hands to Him. The mountains lift up their heads and rejoice. All creatures of the earth give Him glory. Praise be to His majesty, the King of king, which now stands near.” WMB

In order to stay with God, stay gentle. God is gentle. In order to stay with God, stay with love. God is love. Stay meek; stay self… Don’t never be self-sufficient. Always rely upon Him. Never use your own mind. Take His thoughts. Let His thoughts be your thoughts. And take them into your carnal mind and repeat them over, say, “O God, take all my doubt away and let my thoughts be Your thoughts.” WMB

~

Para estar con Dios, mantente manso. Dios es gentil. Para quedarte con Dios, quédate con amor. Dios es amor. Mantente manso; quédate solo… Nunca seas autosuficiente. Confíe siempre en Él. Nunca uses tu propia mente. Toma Sus pensamientos. Deja que Sus pensamientos sean tus pensamientos. Y tómelos en su mente carnal y repítalos otra vez, diga: “Oh Dios, quita todas mis dudas y deja que mis pensamientos sean Tus pensamientos”. WMB

Praise and Worship – Alabanza y Ánimo

“The LORD upholdeth all that fall,
And raiseth up all those that be bowed down.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭145‬:‭14‬ ‭

~

“Sostiene Jehová a todos los que caen,
Y levanta a todos los oprimidos.”
Salmos 145:14

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.
