Encouraged in Christ

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, Make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, Talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength, Seek his face continually.”
‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬-‭11

Now, haven’t you had a lot of temptations? Don’t complain about them. Rejoice. God is with you. He is trying to prove your faith. Look at Job in the Old Testament, when He said, “Have you considered My servant Job, a just man, a perfect man? There is none like him on the earth.” WMB

All is Well

Story Behind the Hymn – Let the Lower Lights Be Burning Written by Phillip Bliss – 1871

That’s what makes Satan mad. That’s what shakes him. When the Church of Jesus Christ only knew who they were, brother…Oh, you say, “I know there is nothing impossible with God.” He said there is nothing impossible to you. Amen. That changes the subject, doesn’t it?

Oh, they says, “There’s nothing impossible to God.” He said there is nothing impossible with you. “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe you receive it, and you shall have it.” Amen. WMB

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2

We look forward to having you join us this evening.

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:1

He, the Bridegroom, took away your shame, “And put it in the Sea of Forgetfulness, by the washing of the Water of the Word and the Blood of Life. WMB
