Encouraged in Christ

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“You don’t look at your affliction. You keep your eyes on the promise Giver, the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes on His Word. He’s the One Who promised. He watches over It to perform it. He keeps it in the hollow of His hand, and in the depths of His heart it’s bedded. His Words has to be True.

Get your mind off of your sickness, off of your troubles. Keep your eyes on Jesus.” WMB

Song of Encouragement “Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior”

“Y aquí están mis mayores victorias, los mayores placeres que tengo, es cuando me topo con algo. No puedo ver por encima, alrededor o debajo. Sigo caminando hacia él, creyendo esto, que Dios abrirá un camino cuando llegue allí. Nunca he venido este año, tan lejos, ninguno… Y toda esta distancia que he recorrido, he confiado en Él. Él nunca me ha fallado.” WMB

“He was tempted on every hand, everywhere.
Keep your eyes on the Shepherd. Don’t look to yourself.
Look at the Shepherd and move on.” WMB

Song of Encouragement“In Moments Like These / En Momentos Así”

But in the depths of our heart, there lays happiness, because that we know that we are absolutely secure in Christ Jesus. WMB

“And I tell you, that’s the reason God was made flesh, here on earth, in order to hold the stinger of death. And now the—death has no more sting. The bee can swarm and buzz, but he can’t sting. “O death, where is thy sting? Grave, where is thy victory?” But Christ, the kinsman Redeemer has made a way of escape for every believer on this earth today.” WMB

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:55-58
