Encouraged in Christ

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9

nuestra fe en nosotros está anclada. Y aunque muchas veces caminamos por sombras oscuras, muchas veces vamos tropezándonos por el camino, no obstante, nuestra ancla permanece firme. Hay algo en ella, muy allá, que parece estar guiando adelante, diciendo: “Sigue adelante. Estamos avanzando”.

“Mas él herido fue por nuestras rebeliones, molido por nuestros pecados; el castigo de nuestra paz fue sobre él, y por su llaga fuimos nosotros curados.”

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Our faith within us is anchored. And though many times we’re walking through dark shadows, many times we’re stumbling along the road, but our anchor still holds. There is something in it, way yonder, that seems to be guiding on, saying, “Move on. We’re going on.” WMB

When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace
