Our Goal: One Soul

Worldwide Missionary Outreach

Our mission is to preach the unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ, knowing that we're living in a dying world amongst dying people, with a Message of Life and with the evidence of the resurrection.

Peru Trip Report

Having just returned from our recent missionary trip to Lima Peru I want to thank all the people who prayed for the success of the meetings and for our trip.  We had a wonderful time in the services and the fellowship with the brothers and sisters.  There were many people who had come from the mountains and jungle to meet with us for the first time.  We shared with them the Word of God and missionary vision for the work in Peru.  As always the people wanted us to come to their churches, which was not possible at this time.  We told them that we are working with some of the brothers in Peru for the missionary work, and perhaps they would be able to come to their churches.  The work for this country is considerable; workers seem to be few.  We would appreciate your continued prayers for the work in Peru.

Philippines Missionary Trip Update

Dear Bro. Daniel,

God Bless you and the saints at home.  We have just finished the second church here in the Philippines. This is the first one we have built on the island of Bohol.  The pastor’s name here is Felix Bantilan.  The main problem here in Bohol has been a transportation issue.  No one in the churches owns a vehicle, let alone one big enough to transport 11 men and gear.  Bro. Felix found an oversized jeepney and the man lived just down the street between the church project and the lodging we are staying at.

The first night we stayed in Tagbilaran the hotel was on top of a hardware store. The next morning we gave them a material list and they said they could supply it all.  What we didn’t expect was them to have four flat tires trying to deliver all the supplies.  The church site was on top of a hill and we had to drop the center of the church site to try to level the ground outward to the four corners.  This was probably the rockiest ground we had to dig in and the lumber was probably the heaviest per piece.  It took eight guys to lift a truss. They also needed a new shower / toilet room with a septic tank.  All of the concrete we had to mix here on this site was on the ground in small volcanoes, as there were no mixers available.  Bro. Felix also had a 16 year old motorcycle that wasn’t worth putting another peso in.  As you instructed, we were able to find a brand new motorcycle for low down and low monthly payments.  The look on his face was priceless and his wife and family were overwhelmed. As we got ready to leave Bro. Felix came to me and said, “Bro. John, I have a new church, a new bathroom, a new pulpit and a new motorcycle. God is so good.  Please thank everyone for their offerings and prayers.”

South Africa Missionary Trip

Dear Bro. Daniel,

We have just returned from another wonderful missionary trip to South Africa.  God continues to do wonderful things with the Zulu people there.  Each time we go we see the growth in the various groups as well as in the lives of the believers there.

The church in Monzi is thriving and they are adding many souls to the kingdom.  It is exciting to see the order in their services and the growth in the young men there.

As you know, within a half hour we have several outreaches that are starting to grow to larger numbers.  The Friday group is now at about 45 to 50 people.  The Saturday group is now also at about 50 people.  The Sunday morning group has about 35 people.

Two and a half hours to the north of our main church in Monzi, is the city of Pongola where there is now about sixty people.  This is our newest outreach and also our fastest growing one.  As we discussed, we were looking for facilities there to hold service or even a place to build a church.  The Lord willing, if it is possible, you may be able to send a building crew a little later in the year and do something like they just did in the Philippines.

Here are a few pictures of the group there in Pongola.  We are meeting outside at this time because we have no facility there.
